Speed Learning and Internal Conflicts

Often the thing that stops you from unleashing all of your potential is not what you are capable of. Usually it is what you THINK you are capable of.
The truth is that there are no physiological or neurological reasons for your life to be anything other than extraordinary.

Speed Learning Languages

When you are using speed learning or accelerated learning techniques you do so by communicating. Communication is formed from language.
So far so good... Right !

Well maybe. You see it all depends on what the language is that you are learning in...

Speed Learning - WHAT you Should Focus on

Speed learning is different. You are 100% unique. This means that the way that you learn is also unique. The problem is you were educated using “factory farming" methods that took no account of your preferred learning style. Does this explain the abysmal academic results some people are getting ?

The education system was designed for the industrial age. We are now beyond that. Because of accelerating changes in the growth of information we need to have accelerated learning strategies to keep up with the changes.

In this video post on NLP Courses.org Mike Noone talks about What you should be focussing on when you want to do speed learning...

Speed Learning Secrets of NLP

Mike Noone an NLP trainer from New Zealand has written a handbook you can use to get better results when you're learning.
Here's the thing...you can use what he teaches here to get different and better results in your life simply by changing how you talk to your self. yes it sounds woo woo...yes it sounds too simple and YES this stuff works.

Mike's work is based on years of research he has done himself as well as the work of many other authorities in the fields of neurology, NLP, education, hypnosis and mind mapping. Mike draws on the work of greats such as Dr Paul Scheele, Drs Richard Bandler and John Grinder, Tony Buzzan and Thomas Gordon..

This book has shot to the top of the Amazon Kindle charts and sits at #1 for Speed Learning and # 2 for educational psychology. It is at #11 for educational study skills.

For a limited time Mike is offering free bonus material with his book.

Here's what Stephen Davies had to say about it

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best I've read In A Long Time... November 29, 2012
By Stephen Davies - HoustonFireSafety.net
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
"This book motivates me!

Upon opening this book I thought I knew everything about NLP and how it affects learning and the potential of the mind. I have read countless books on NLP and had the preconceived belief that it was mainly used in therapeutic settings and that one needed to seek out a professional in order to get the maximum potential of what NLP can do for your life... Boy, was I in for a shock.

This book opened my eyes to a whole new level of thinking and I encourage everyone who thinks they know NLP or speed-learning to read and use this excellent book. There were so many good things about this book, but what I really appreciate about it was the fact that it got me motivated. It is different from so many NLP books because there are some excellent real-life exercises that you can do to improve, not only your learning, but your self-belief that you are unteachable... at least for my case.

After going through this book, I can see how this is going to help me with some of my own personal struggles with A.D.D. and other so called, "disabilities" that I thought I had my entire life... these beliefs that have been holding me back. I discovered that I was holding on to some of these beliefs my entire life because they were crutches and these crutches enabled me to stay in the same state of mind for over 30 years.

The exercises are so easy to do, but if you follow the simple instructions in this book (and take notes like I did), you will find them extremely easy to do and before you know it, you'll see a big improvement in your learning abilities.

This book is more than just a new way to speed-read or how to overcome sluggish learning... to me, it's a barrier-breaker! Again, I highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks that learning is boring or that they are incapable of going to the next level"

Marketing your NLP Business

I formulated a quick ten question survey over the weekend on "Marketing your NLP or Changework Business" because I will be running a 1 day workshop in Christchurch in March 2013.

It is useful for me to know what you know about marketing and marketing systems and also what you want to know.

( I don't know what you don't know...)

So if you complete the simple ten question survey here it will assist you in identifying what you need to know as well as helping me to design the structure of the training more accurately.

Thanks for participating,

Mike.

Transforming Communication: a post training debrief ghetto video

I just published a video on the Transforming Communication site. It's around 13:34 long.

Transforming Communication: a post training debrief ghetto video

This was shot shortly after we taught Transforming Communication to a select group of friends at our home in Thailand.

We begin by discussing why we think that Transforming communication may not be the best possible name for this course.

That’s because the name only describes part of what you can get out of it.

This video addresses issues that people often have such as “it is hard to learn how to communicate well”

It is actually easy because you’re already doing it. The problems happen because you are using what you do in the wrong way or at the wrong time.

We also talk about what we have personally got from both teaching and using the material in our own lives…

Transforming communication simply shows you better ways of doing what you already do so that you get the results you want and not just what you think you are stuck with.

You can get access to other videos and information by entering your first name and best email address in the boxes below. Please bear with us as we’re still rejigging a lot of the things on the site.

http://www.transformingcommunication.com/transforming-communication-a-post-training-debrief-ghetto-video/

There's also a place on the page where you can get access to our newsletter which shows you different ways you can improve how you relate to other people. It is a bridge between two hard places that connects the gap you have in your understanding.

These skills are subtle and are what sets apart successful people from everyone else.

Nlp Neuro Linguistic Programming In New Zealand

A COMMUNITY QUESTION FOR NLPers

I am taking a different slant here on this page.

Here's why

I have a view that NLP does not work until such times that people

1/ believe it works. So, that requires demonstration/proof.

2/ understand how it works and why it's important for them

3/ Can learn it easily and effectively

4/ They know it exists and how to easily access it.

So, I am curious about what you think isn't working in the world of NLP change work.

Is everything rosy in the garden or are there things that you would change?

Now I am expecting a tirade of posts here questioning my "non useful presuppositions". Which is a presupposition in itself, of course.

Now...I think of it more as wanton curiosity. Because apparently it is good to be curious. Is it not ?

So here is a question for you. A frame if you will.

Kung Fu and NLP both came into western consciousness within a few years of one another.
To be clear I have generalised here and also include other martial arts such as karate and ju jitsu etc etc.

Is it that Kung Fu is not only better known than NLP but it is also more popular ?

If so why is this ?

Mike

PS For the record and for the sake of clarity, I am not saying that there is not a lot of really great work being done out there. Au contraire. There are some amazing folks out there doing truly amazing work.

What I have a sense of curiosity about is what else can we all do ?

Hint: They are not teaching you HOW to learn. They're telling you WHAT to learn. And that leaves you at a disadvantage in a world where information is doubling every ten months and the average school leaver will have between 4 and 6 career changes in their lifetime.

It is estimated by a major US University that by 2020 around 60% of new jobs created will not have people who are adequqately trained to do them.

Additionally with the globalisation of the world and the internet access to many forms of 21st century employment you are competing for work with people who live in a village somewhere in Asia.

If you are in business then you need to establish yourself as the authority in your market place and fast. You need to be able to adapt rapidly to changes in the economy, market demands, environmental requirements and new technology. Agility & adaptability is the most important tool in the 21st Century.

Without the tools to learn and adapt you will be left behind by the smart few who take advantage of these mind technologies to transform themselves and integrate into the new world. Don't be fooled and think this can wait because that world is already here

Government research states that our education system is failing 20% of those using it. That's 1 in 5 and it has to stop.

LEARN META MEDICINE SKILLS in WELLINGTON New Zealand

30th and 31st october 2012 (tuesday and wednesday)

LEARN META MEDICINE SKILLS in WELLINGTON New Zealand

uncover the real path to complete health

barbara c belger
introduced meta medicine to new zealand by organising richard flook’s first certification training in 2009. barbara herself has been unravelling the truth behind all illnesses and the impact of trauma for many years and had come across the ‘art’ of meta medicine in 2005.
“meta medicine is the frame to hold all the puzzle pieces that are represented by the various traditional, alternative and complimentary healing methods. it is the precise road map to truly understand your body - and yes, you may have to move away from descartes’ or darwin’s ‘separation between mind and body’.” -barbara says

currently traveling new zealand, writing her first book and being inspired by the beauty of new zealand and her people, barbara has designed a 2 day workshop that gives you more information and inspiration than you could possibly expect to find out in 2 days, for you to integrate this wisdom into your private and professional life

in two days you will

learn the principles of meta medicine
gain insights into your and your clients’ health records
receive breakthrough information on why really we become sick
become clear on how to help yourself, your loved ones or your clients
re-gain full trust in your body’s innate healing abilities

to know whether this workshop is for you or not allow me to if right now you or someone you care for has a health issue

people who have attended any meta medicine workshops or trainings have been

blown away
experienced a paradigm shift
gained full confirmation on what they always suspected to be the real cause of dis-ease
acquired complete peace of mind with regard to their own health and the health and wellbeing of others
loved spending their time with like-minded people, who are passionate to create a change in this world

two important days of your life that will change your attitude to dis-ease forever!

examples of complete meta medicine therapy work

60 year old male, recurring ‘tennis elbow’ over several years - resolving an issue with his son, letting go of hurtful emotion: all symptoms disappeared

58 year old female, over 25 years of back pain - resolving conflict with ex partner, overcoming loss of baby, allowing to feel supported and trust: all symptoms disappeared, lost heaps of weight and ‘all anger about past is gone’

45 year old female, knee injury through sport at mid 20 requiring constant treatment, pain becoming severe and yet, being able to be physically active: resolving conflict shock (flexibility, self-worth and moving forward) plus SCENAR treatment: symptom free

40 year old female, 13 years constant pain (fibromyalgia): uncovering the original traumatic event (that has ‘never been told to anyone’), re-learn the experience and letting go of the stressful emotion: pain free - and no more migraine either

in her presentations and workshops barbara puts everything into practise that she has learned for over a decade.
in the recent canterbury earthquakes barbara set up a ‘trauma corner’ in one of the emergency centres and with the support of colleagues effectively de-traumatised a huge number of severely stressed cantabrians. “nlp recover” received government contracts in june 2011 and is still operational in canterbury to help people recover from earthquake trauma.

on our blogsite you will find out about a meta medicine workshop near you - do make sure you pass this information on to friends and colleagues across the country. feel free to contact me, barbara, to arrange a free talk and a workshop in your town should you not see it in the workshop schedule.

the workshop fees for this year, including manual and certificate of attendance will be kept at $390.- , this is subject to increase in 2013.

email barbarabelger@gmail.com to receive your enrollment form - booking and full payment is necessary to guarantee your place.

the workshops will be supportive of your own goals and health questions.

‘what an opportunity for new zealand’s health practitioners’ - not to be missed.

is any previous training required? no, this workshop is open for everyone. all you need is a passion for health and a burning desire to be a part of an ever growing number of meta medicine trained people world wide.

see you there

warm regards, love & joy

NLP, accelerated learning and how your brain processes information…

Your brain has two “operating systems”. Conscious and unconscious. These two operating systems have different capacities when dealing with information. research has shown that your conscious mind ( that’s the bit that you’re aware of and that you’re using to read this article with) can cope with 7 bits of information per second. + or – 2. So that’s to say between 5 and 9 bits of information. Any more than that and you start to go into overwhelm. I suspect that the enormous levels of information we are bombarded with every day are responsible for the rise in ADD and ADHD. Basically, people may be “checking out” to avoid overwhelm. Your Brain-NLP and accelerated learning

These new and better ways involve using all of your brain and all of your mind…
Let’s take a look at your brain next.
If you continue using your brain in the way they taught you at school then the answer is probably yes. You will keep getting those results that lead to poor performance in learning.
But by now you know there are other better and more effective ways of learning.
Your Brain-NLP and accelerated learning

NLP, accelerated learning and how your brain processes information…

Your brain has two “operating systems”. Conscious and unconscious. These two operating systems have different capacities when dealing with information. research has shown that your conscious mind ( that’s the bit that you’re aware of and that you’re using to read this article with) can cope with 7 bits of information per second. + or – 2. So that’s to say between 5 and 9 bits of information. Any more than that and you start to go into overwhelm. I suspect that the enormous levels of information we are bombarded with every day are responsible for the rise in ADD and ADHD. Basically, people may be “checking out” to avoid overwhelm.

http://transformingleaders.net/blog/2012/09/08/adult-education-nlp-and-accelerated-learning/

I have been on a mission for the last week…
In the last 3 days I have delivered six trainings on accelerated learning to various parts of the community across a diverse range of demographics.

It was my contribution to Adult learners week for my friends and neighbours.

I was also curious about how interested people are in taking charge of their destiny through learning how to change and adapt more easily and quickly.

That’s what education and learning are.

Change and adaptation.

And there are two ways to carry out this learning process. You can learn proactively, by observing that the world we live in is changing very rapidly, and gathering skills that will allow you to adapt most easily to those changes.

And there’s the reactive option....

NLP and motivation-Why you may not be getting what you think you want…

NLP and motivation

Ok the headline for this post is a bit cryptic. Here’s why…

I was thinking about someone I know who just finished school. They didn’t pass any of their exams and they feel a bit down about it. This young guy had told me he wanted to become a doctor. A medical man and to heal people. No easy feat. In fact in terms of difficulty and time it doesn’t get much harder.

Unless you want to be a veterinarian of course….Woohoo (Tough !! )

So I have been spending time considering what it was that stopped this young guy from doing what he said was his dream and this is what I think may be the problem.

The goal was not compelling or clear enough for him to be motivated to do the work it takes to achieve at that high level.
Th ehills are alive with the sound of metal 300x225 NLP and motivation Why you may not be getting what you think you want...

Confused ambitions lead to confusing results…

So if you aren’t getting the results you think that you want from your life then maybe you could consider how motivated you are to achieve that goal. Does it get you out of bed every day really buzzing about the day ahead. If not then either the goal may not be quite right for you or you could be fatigued from a long time spent in pursuing that goal. It could also be that you are overwhelmed due to information overload.

There are other factors to consider.

Is this really YOUR dream or has it been foisted on you by someone else like a parent or a spouse. Be honest here because you are only allotted a certain amount of time on this planet. Don’t delay on going after the life you really want. Tomorrow doesn’t always come..

There will be a time when you will wish for a tomorrow and it may be too late.

So if you are working on your Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) and not getting results, you could consider two other likely causes for lack of progress.

What you are doing may be out of alignment with your values and your heart isn’t really in it. Your values are what is important to you. it is also part of what you call your conscience.
You use your values as an ethical scale to use when planning things and also to measure your results against when you are done.

You may be chunking the tasks in an ineffective way

The other thing could be that you are either too “big picture” ( Chunked up, as we call it in NLP) or too detailed ( Chunked down) for the stage you are at in your endeavour.

What I often do is take a step back to realistically assess progress when managing projects, as well as plotting how things are going using a Gant chart or critical path planning. Quite often you will find you are closer to your outcome than you think and persistence is the key.

I will go into more depth on each of these topics and roadblocks in the near future.

By the way. It turns out the young man was sufficiently motivated to help people change lives. He just didn’t have the patience for the long haul and wanted his patients and clients to get results quickly and easily.

He will be attending my 2012 NLP Practitioner training so he can effectively and predictably help people to make positive changes in their life…

NLP Community Event as part of Adult Learning Week..

The times they are a changin'

As part of adult learning week I am running some community events about using NLP to learn more easily and to remember more of what you have learned. This is what is known as accelerated learning.

Why is it important that you have these skills?

Because the ability to adapt to our ever changing world has never before been so important. Learning is simply adapting to changes.

The world is changing rapidly. I'm sure you will have noticed. You don't know what changes will have occurred when you next watch the news. Most people change because they are forced to.

This is reactive change and can be likened to closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. These changes are often carried out in a state of fear and uncertainty and as such aren't always thought out in the best way.

Smart people learn how to adapt so that they are prepared for changes before they happen. They see & can leap aboard of new opportunities as they happen and ride that winner all the way to the finish line. Making changes this way is done from a state of confidence about being able to adapt easily so that you thrive and prosper.

NLP is about having the flexibility to adapt to changes and about learning new skills rapidly and easily.

In the 21st century the greatest skill anyone can learn is how to adapt to change...

If you want to get THE unfair advantage that will make a difference in your life then be there.

NLP presupposes or assumes that you are in charge of your own thoughts. There are of course those who say that this isn’t true. These people tend to not be successful or satisfied with their life and fall into the category of what many people refer to as “victims”

The reason I raise this so early on in this article is because it’s important to think about who is actually in charge of your thinking processes. The reason for getting clear on this is that everything you experience in your life gets processed by the six inches of grey matter between your ears. So you might as well take control of what goes on in there. It’s far preferable to be in charge as compared to having your thinking dictated to you, by someone else.

This is one of the major NLP presuppositions which is that you are “at cause’. Now many people get kind of freaked out by this because it means they are responsible for their own life. I tend to re-frame this as they are in control of what happens to them and the quality of life they have.

So far we’ve discovered that by choosing to take responsibility for your thoughts you get more choice for the results you get from your life.

Here’s another thing. Thoughts are what you use to construct communication with. Some people say we communicate with words but that’s only part of the picture. Communication also involves something called State which is the sum total of all of your physiology and your feelings and your body posture as well as your emotions and what you are thinking. So State is a pretty big thing.

And State is a two way thing. What I mean by that is that your state affects your choice of words and the language you use when communicating. This in turn affects the sort of responses you get in reply to your words.

Here’s a simple example of that. When you are in the state called anger the words you choose and how you say them tend to be different to the ones you use when you are in the state called loving.

So your internal state affects how you communicate with the external world. This in turn affects the response you get back from the external environment which in its turn then has an affect on your internal state again.

This is why we say in NLP that managing your state is the first and most important thing for you to do when you want to communicate with someone.

This includes you because as you just noticed you react to messages you receive as well as the ones you send. So if you’re going to talk to your self you may as well be nice to yourself as it will make your whole day happier and more enjoyable.

In my NLP Courses and trainings I go into much more depth on this topic.

Wyatt Woodsmall was one of the original developers of NLP.

In this TED X talk Wyatt lashes out at our current inadequate educational system. Wyatt is of the same opinion that I have which is that Education should first and foremost teach students how to learn. In the 21st Century it is estimated that people will have between 3 and 6 careers over their working life and will therefore be constantly learning.

The fact that your children are taught WHAT to learn as compared to HOW to learn shows up the short sightedness of our current education system.

NLP and Propaganda. How to tell the difference..

My Colleagues will hate me for this…

Much of NLP’s infamy comes from the fact that it is the study of how people do things really well.

One of those things that were studied was sales people and how they convince people to buy things. This isn’t what NLP teaches by the way because we added in something called ecology which is the study of consequences.
So yes you top the sales league for your company having sold 183 vacuum cleaners to Mrs smith but you have problems ahead in the form of the FTC and the 182 vacuum cleaners she will probably return to you.

But this isn’t about sales or not directly.

Count Alfred Korzybski was a Polish linguist who observed the language that a certain Mr A. Hitler was using in prewar world war 2 Germany.

He was concerned enough that he wrote about his concerns to the Government of the United States of America.

When the US entered the war after the bombing of Pearl harbour he was employed by the US government to assist them with their own propaganda efforts.

Here are some of the types of tricks that are employed by Governments to convince you of “the truth” This article was published on Goldsilver.com which is one of my favourite sources of information about the real economy.

The State of learning. NLP and accelerated learning

NLP and accelerated learning are both state dependent. What this means is that the way you think and feel emotionally along with your body posture all have an effect on how well you do something.
So just as there are ways to be when you want to be depressed or down there are other better ways to be when you want t learn exceedingly quickly and easily.
There are other states where you can remember information with a very high level of accuracy..

This video begins exploring that !!

sThe State of learning. NLP and accelerated learning

NLP and accelerated learning video

Both NLP and accelerated learning require you to be in the right state for them to be effective…
What is state ? Aaaaah well, I show you that in the video after this one…
There is a reason why I am teaching you this way but you can relax because it’s not important to learn that right away. That’s what comes next…

I hope you like Carmen…(the opera that is ) It was written by Georges Bizet and it’s all about love and passion and persistence. And those are all things that are really useful when you want to learn something..and learn it fast. And even more importantly learn it easily…Almost as if you don’t notice it’s happening.

NLP and accelerated learning

NLP & Accelerated Learning

NLP Accelerated learning is about having the right motivation, the right state and beliefs and the correct tools to learn things really quickly and easily.
When you add your own personal learning style and a few NLP techniques then learning stuff really does get easy. It really is all about learning excellence.
Here’s why I believe that learning how to learn is even more important now than ever.

There is no such thing as a job for life anymore. It is thought that the average school leaver will have between 3 and 5 careers over the course of their working life. It makes sense to be able to retrain as quickly and as easily as possible.
There will be jobs & businesses in the future, that do not currently exist. Those who adapt quickest will be the winners.
If we are now in the Information age that suggests having a lot of new data to keep up with. The ‘innovation curve is about to go vertical.

If you were to create a graph of all the information that has ever existed and started the graph at the year
1 AD it would take until 1500 for the amount of knowledge available to double. It doubled again by 1750 and then 1900. The next doubling of knowledge took a mere 50 years then 10 years and 7 years and finally six years.
This was up until 1973 when there was 128 times more knowledge than in 1 AD according to George Anderia who measured this growth.

How specifically do you know something is true ? NLP and success...

The NLP Keys to success are know your goal, take action, have sensory awareness, have behavioural flexibility and operate from a physiology and psychology of excellence...

This post is both a rant and a lesson for you.

I was in a local cafe recently which I had frequented as a customer. The coffee was good and there was a nice buzz to the place. Clientele included coaches, healers and business people as well as retail therapists...

The business had put my posters on their events notice board previously but I always ask if can I place another one there rather than presume upon their good will.

I was quite surprised when on this occasion I was refused and even more surprised by the reasoning.

To whit...The owner did not know what NLP or neuro linguistic programming is and is also not at all interested in finding out about it. Further more she was certain that it was of no interest to any of her clients. So there.

Take that !!

Her depth of knowledge about her clients tastes was overwhelming. And here is the lesson and where I tie this back into the NLP keys to success.

Sensory awareness or being aware of what is going on around you is one of the things that NLP teaches because without this information you do not really know if something is true or not.
There is another aspect to this which is something known as the metamodel which is a set of questions NLP practitioners learn on our NLP practitioner training

The metamodel question I could have asked was.."How do you know specifically that your clients are not interested in learning better ways of running their life ? "

But since she didn't know and didn't seem to want to know, I used one of the other NLP keys to success which is behavioural flexibility and left.

I could have used NLP persuasion skills to educate the woman about how she was actually doing a disservice to her clients by being a censor for what they can or cannot do with their lives.
But,,,
By using my sensory acuity I determined that it would be a waste of time and energy to attempt to convince her...

Here's the thing. Sometimes in our rush to "protect" people from what we do not know about, we often condemn them to the limitations of our own knowledge and beliefs.

Now....

Imagine if Orville and Wilbur Wright had listened to those who said man will never fly...

If Henry Ford had listened to the naysayers who stated that "these new fangled horseless carriages will never catch on. They are just a fad....!! "

Imagine what will happen if you listen to those who constantly tell you you can't do that it's not possible. Don't get too big for your boots etc etc etc. ( The people who tell you this never actually consider that boots also come in larger sizes...Doh )

Now think about what will happen if you ignore what they say and follow your dreams about what may be possible for you to achieve with your life..! I'm not saying it comes easily but the first person to believe it's possible has to be you...and just by allowing that it may be possible the task just got a whole lot easier because you have one less critic to listen to.

So, when ever someone says to you, "You can't do that" simply ask them.

"How do you know that, specifically ?"

( NLP Insider TIP: This includes YOU as well )

I now use another place to meet my clients, my business coach and my friends. All of whom use NLP in one way or another. ( just proves how well the owner knew her customers...)

For those of you who want to learn more about the keys to success and how to effectively use them, I am running two more free evenings about NLP and it's applications. Specifically: in relationships and also in accelerated learning. They are being held, respectively on the 10th and the 17th of July at our public venue. Petone Library meeting rooms in Britannia Street Petone.

Both of these Mini workshops commence at 6:15 pm and will end at around 8pm. The meeting room is warm and is draught free and conveniently located for public transport. There is free parking at the rear of the venue. Access is from the back of the venue and will be sign posted.

Come and find out what you can make possible.

PS I am also using another nlp skill here known as utilisation. What this means is that I am using what happened as a metaphor and a reason to teach you ways you can improve how you experience your life.

Better Relationships Using NLP to increase trust and understanding...

Better relationships need better communication and that is what NLP is all about. From it's origins in the 1970s, NLP has studied excellent communicators such as Fritz Perls who created Gestalt Therapy, Virginia Satir the "grandmother of family therapy" and Doctor Milton Erickson who was largely responsible for modern hynotherapy.

All of these people had an almost uncanny ability to "connect" with people in a way that led to them being able to make extraordinary changes in their lives. Each used a slightly different way of communication but the thing is that each of these communication styles are effective in specific situations. Because these language patterns have been mapped out in a format where anybody can learn to use them, it means that communication and the quality of your relationships can be accurately predicted and are within your control.

There were other studies done too on things like, what makes for a good marriage or couples relationship?

Research was carried out on 1,000s of couples and we can now accurately predict whether or not a couple will be together at the end of a twelve year period. Not only that it is now possible to tell which year they will break up in.

Relationships are a science and as such are predictable and measurable. What I mean by that last sentence is that we also know which behaviours will lead to a long lasting relationship. We know about how conflicts in relationships play out and about the three different types of conflict. We know how to get Better Relationships Using NLP as a system which doesn't mean that your relationships become predictable.
On the contrary it's more like learning new moves when you are dancing with someone and gives you more choices for fun and relaxation.

If you'd like to discover more about how you can get more out of your relationships them come along to Petone Library Meeting rooms for a free 90 minute, mini workshop at 6:15 pm on Tuesday, 10th of July 2012.

This workshop is particularly suited to those who want more peace, harmony, influence and cooperation in their relationships with other people. So that may include you as well...

NLP Neuro Linguistic Programming and Accelerated Learning workshops

Click here for nlp and learning 2.docx

NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming is the basis for accelerated learning. NLP is a system that gets predictable results for you and your learning goals.

It does this by showing you how to be in a learning state of mind where you become fascinated by the subject matter. Research shows that curiosity is one of the most important factors in learning more easily. You may wonder how I can get you that curious .

Now I'd like you to imagine what it will be like when you can do amazing things like read at up to 26,000 words per minute. How incredible does that sound ? Well there have actually been faster reading speeds than that recorded. Much faster.. but I don't want you to get too excited about what you may be capable of when you apply this system to your life..

So now that you are curious about how easily you can absorb information you may be wondering, what are you going to do with all that new information that you have up there ? And more importantly than that, how will you ever find it again.

You know. In an examination situation or when you are presenting to a client or managing large and complex projects... ? You see you never actually delete anything you experience or learn. It's just that you cannot always remember where you put it when you need to...

The actor Woody Allan once said that he had speed read the book "War and Peace", the epic novel by Tolstoy. and that someone had asked him what the book is about.

"Russia" was his reply.

Now you want more detail than that in a situation where your ability to recall information is important. NLP accelerated learning shows you reliable and predictable methods for retrieving information from your brain...

But there's even more to it than learning huge amounts of data and being able to spit it out at will.

How about experiencing learning as being a FUN activity ? Now this is important because research shows that if you are relaxed when you learn then you retain up to 21% more.

Imagine looking forward to those training workshops with excitement and anticipation instead of the standard " Oh well it's some time away from the coal face" attitude that you may be familiar with.

On this free mini workshop on accelerated learning you will discover the most important reasons why you need to learn how to learn and NOT what to learn

NLP accelerated learning is the answer. Here's the thing. You don't even know what the problem is yet. Be there to find out more.

WHERE : Petone Library Meeting rooms, Britannia Street Petone,
WHEN : Starts at 6:15 pm and ends at approximately 8pm . There is free off street parking and good access by public transport.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? For now it is at zero cost but I am seriously considering charging for this information. Get in now while you still can...

Wellington NLP in Relationships Free Introductory Evening

At it's most basic NLP neuro-linguistic programming is about communication. If your relationships are not everything you want them to be then the odds are that communication is the problem.
The developers of NLP studied people who were the best communicators in the world and modelled or copied what they did. They got the same results and sometimes even better results.
The three main people studied were Virginia Satir, the grandmother of Family therapy. Fritz Perls who created Gestalt therapy and Dr Milton Erickson.

A dogs life..?

All three of these people were remarkable in their own way and they all used subtly different ways of communicating with people.

NLP trainer Tonjy Robbins says that "The meaning of your communication is the result you get..."
What that means is that the results you get are a result of what and how you communicate...
In this fast moving work shop you will learn about
- Personal communication and what doesn’t work. You may already know this subject matter well
Why you may be experiencing "coding problems" when you communicate and the effects that can have on your relationships.

You will learn the basics of NLP rapport skills that create trust and understanding.

NLP in Education and Learning Free Introductory Evening

Most learning is outmoded and based on 19th Century Industrial age concepts. One of the primary concepts among these ideas is the one of a job for life. You have probably noticed the changes in your world. The empty shops and factories that were once home to peoples businesses and jobs. The jobs that don't exist any more because they are either redundant or outsourced..

It has been said that someone leaving school today will probably have two if not three careers during their working life. This will require lifelong learning and so to us it makes sense to be able to learn in the most effective ways possible and as rapidly as possible.

And the winner is.
NLP Neuro-linguistic programming is the basis for accelerated learning. I personally use it every day to consume web pages, books and articles and to be able to recall the information easily.

Life time learning skills are no longer an option. They are an essential habit to keep pace with the enormous quantities of information we have to all deal with.
( The amount of information you have available to you is doubling roughly every 18 months )

In this short introductory workshop NLP trainer Mike Noone will show you ways to learn more, learn faster and how you can retrieve this information more easily just by running your brain differently.

If you are studying or know someone who is studying or is about to, then this event is a must.

The different nlp languages your brain speaks

Every day there is always more to learn. And we can learn.
There are many ways we communicate. In many languages.
Yes we do and even then there is the languages of our minds which go far beyond words.

there is the language of nature and of pictures

when I say the word tree your mind makes pictures that we can both understand
and so on with the sounds of the wind in the mountains

the colours of the sky

and the shapes of the flowers

all help us to talk without words. The magic of communication.
